Our client, a leading South London College Group is looking for an Administrator to work within their Student Support Team to be based at their Morden campus.
Primary Responsibility
* Support students to apply for bursaries using their internal system
Other Responsibilities
* Support with administrative duties such as student record data entry, administering the learner support application process, booking event and enrichment activities, free college meals sign up and arranging 1-2-1 appointments for the Student Support Advisers.
* Work front of house in the Student Support Centre to provide information to students about the team’s services and to provide support in accessing information with regards to careers, job searching, CV,s etc. and signpost to various internal or external agencies.
* Act as a triage point of referral to ensure students are supported in a timely and appropriate manner
* Maintain accurate records of information relating to learners and provide data in order to monitor student progress, achievement and outcomes. Provide an analysis of student feedback information from workshops and enrichment activities. Provide administrative support to the Student Union
* Suppoort with the coordination and administration of activities in the Student Common Room.
* Maintain stock and display of student information resources- paper and digital.
Post holders are required to wear College uniform while on duty (supplied by the College)
Person Specification
- Administration experience - ideally in an education setting
- Good (and confident) communicator
- Able to manage a busy workload
You will need an enhanced DBS within 12 months or on the update
