Technical Support Coordinator

Our client is a globally leading technology company in the CNC industry and their equipment and machinery is highly regarded worldwide. Service and reliability are massively important to our client and is one of the main reasons why they are so successful.

Due to continued expansion an exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and technically driven Engineer. You will be responsible for providing high levels of customer service and technical support.

You will be the first point of contact for customers contacting the technical support team and you will be required to understand and diagnose problems remotely with the machinery.

Role & Responsibilities

*Developing and maintaining customer relationships
*Working closely and coordinating the field service engineers
*Following up on spare part deliveries and installations
*Resolve simple issues and set up part collections
*Adhere to service level agreements (SLA'S)

Required Skills & Experience

*Engineering and tooling background
*Engineering or technical qualification
*Excellent communication skills in both telephone and written
*Ability to work independently
*Ability to differentiate between CNC and PLC
*Understand trouble shooting
*Ability to explain and communicate situations clearly and quickly
