Leading Retailer is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive, to join their head office in Liverpool.

The Digital Marketing Executive primary objective will be to develop strong and innovative digital marketing strategies, using SEO, PPC, and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. Create engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying up-to-date on latest marketing technologies and social media. The Digital Marketing Executive will be agile, results-driven, detail-oriented digital marketer to own the direction and execution of our strategic efforts to increase brand awareness, lead generation, align ecommerce marketing with the wider retail marketing and drive improved sales and results. In addition to experience in digital marketing, the right candidate will possess a growth mind set. They will also be an exceptional communicator with superb interpersonal skills, who can interface with sales and leadership with ease.

Role & Responsibilities:

Plan and execute multiplatform digital marketing campaigns.

Own our brand messaging strategy and standards.

Oversee email marketing and lead nurturing efforts.

Plan and run conversion testing and other experiments.

Own the use of our marketing technology platforms.

Be the point of contact for related vendors and agencies, as needed.

Coordinate content with manager on the scope and direction of content creation.

Develop and execute an ongoing content promotion strategy.

Act as our community manager on our social media accounts.

Work with the sales team on lead qualification, marketing-to-sales handoff processes, etc.

Work with the leadership team to understand business objectives and revenue goals, as part of the strategy development process.

Create landing pages and other conversion opportunities.

Report on key results and other predetermined KPIs on a regular basis, such as website traffic, lead generation, revenue attribution, and so forth.

Proactively stay on top of digital marketing trends and news, so as to inform future growth strategies and opportunities.

Oversee paid media advertising campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, and so on.

Act as the owner of our website performance, with a focus on optimizing for search and user experience.

Digital Marketing Job Duties

Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies

Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences

Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies

Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success

Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns

Manage email and social media marketing campaigns

Contact, interview, and hire third party graphic designers, web designers, and videographers to create unique and engaging content

Drive traffic to company pages

Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites

Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects

Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information

Skills & Experience:
Historical track record of success in a digital marketing role.

Exceptional project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Self-directing and agile, with the ability to quickly pivot strategies, as needed.

Experience with marketing automation, email marketing, and other related platforms.

Passionate, creative thinker with exceptional analytical skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Has a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in digital marketing, with an insatiable hunger for learning

Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Strong experience with SEO, PPC, Google AdWords, Content Management Systems, Photoshop, InDesign,Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft Office
