Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who has a good understanding of the national curriculum framework for primary school pupils is required for a New School in Ilford, Essex (Greater London).
SALARY:£20,000 - £22,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Their Teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Support Workers are specialist trained to work in developing the children who would have had experience of an Adverse Childhood Experience. Their ATIC model (Attachment Trauma Informed Care) approach boosts confidence, self-esteem and helps the young people to develop skills to be a successful learner. This approach is used to recognise and reduce barriers to learning and create a personalised curriculum.
Using the Pro-approach training you will receive for this role; as the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be expected to ensure all children and young people within their care are secure and receiving the best possible educational provision and outcomes.
As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work alongside the Headteacher and teachers to support the learning activities, help plan lessons, prepare teaching materials and resources. You will give clear and effective teaching to secure pupil progress whilst assessing the development, progress and attainment of pupils. You will contribute to an integrated model of care supporting the pupils, recognising, and responding to their individual needs.
As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will have a good understanding of the national curriculum framework and differentiation. Ideally, you will have gained an education standard of up to degree level, whilst showing evidence of vocational education or experience relevant to this post.
