Job Title: Private Client Lawyer
Salary: £40 – £45k
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Our client is an established law firm based in Kent. They specialise in providing exceptional legal services to both personal and commercial clients across Southeast England, London and beyond. They have built a reputation for providing cost-effective and pragmatic legal services which always focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for their clients.
Due to continued success and growth they are now recruiting for a Private Client Lawyer to join the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Private Client specifically with 5+ years PQU. The candidate will display sound knowledge, professional competence, and confidence in advising, preparing and managing a Wills and Probate caseload with associated advise and preparation of LPAs and Trusts.
You must be able to manage a caseload with minimum supervision and will report to the Partner and assist in providing exceptional client care.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experienced Private Client Lawyer with 5 years PQE (post qualified experience)
Must have excellent people management skills.
Able to handle communications, discussions, and negotiations articulately and efficiently.
A comprehensive knowledge of the law and commercial matters when dealing with taxation, inheritance, investments, and trusts is essential.
Exceptional IT skills including WORD, EXCEL.
The candidate will possess excellent client care skills and be able to build relationships with clients.
Meeting with and advising clients on a range of issues.
Providing advice to clients.
Taking instructions and drafting letters/correspondence.
Drafting legal documents.
Being the first point of contact for a number of key clients and managing cases.
