A fantastic opportunity has arisen (due to promotion) for an Operations Coordinator to work for a highly sought-after company based in Newbury. My client is looking for reliable candidates with strong administration and processing skills/experience to join their very busy Operations team.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be reporting into the Operations Supervisor and processing and maintaining the order management and working within the Sales administration department for all imports, exports and cross trade primarily for European and UK businesses.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Organizing and accurately tracking orders/shipments of products to & from UK and Europe.
  • Reporting regularly on status of shipments to the operations supervisor and sales managers
  • Processing customer PO's, entering orders in the database, sending sales orders, booking shipments, negotiating logistics costs, finding solutions to problems, fulfilling orders, organizing supplier payments, billing customers.
  • Working closely with other administrative staff, our documentation team and our sales team
  • Communicating production & shipping information to Sales representatives and customers
  • Ensuring all processes and legal requirements are completed in a timely manner
  • Entering and managing inventory
  • Managing the freight and logistics area and ensuring efficiencies and optimizing margins.
