This role is a 6 months FTC.

We are currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team in Uxbridge. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in designing and delivering bespoke training within a mortgage context, who can identify, design and deliver business training requirements which will cover inductions, commercial training, soft skills, management development and technical skills. Your role will involve a blended approach to learning through methods such as coaching, awareness campaigns, handbooks, classroom training, and more.

You will be working within an established team that is a vital part of Pepper's operations, and you will receive ample support so that you can be successful in your role.

We would like to hear from candidates with good experience of delivering skills and competency-based training, and who are able to work effectively under pressure, communicate with clarity, and demonstrate great interpersonal skills.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Identifying training and development needs arising through job analysis, appraisal schemes, internal audit, and regular consultation with departments among other methods;
Designing and developing training and development programs based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs;
Production of programs that are satisfactory to all relevant stakeholders;
Development of a suite of regulatory training modules which are regularly updated and monitored;
Developing effective induction programs;
Devising individual learning plans;
Producing training materials for in-house courses;
Managing the delivery of training and development programs and devising a training strategy for the organisation;
Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
Amending and revising programs as necessary in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work or regulatory environment;
Helping line managers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
Training managers and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with

Essential Skills

We're looking for a candidate who has experience in delivering financial services-oriented training who can consistently deliver outstanding development outcomes across a variety of topics and mediums, and who has a good understanding of the way that regulation and legislative policy change impacts on the business and this role, particularly as they relate to loan and mortgage products.
