Factory Production Operative

Production Operative workers needed on an ongoing basis for factory production work based in Runcorn.
Automotive components are produced within this industrial setting via a wide range of different machines, and you will work on a rotating basis over time (starting with one machine to learn that one before being moved on to another).
Being able to work quickly and in time with the speed of the production line is essential.
With an immediate start, this work is then ongoing temporary work, with the potential to be kept on permanently for excellent workers.

You will be involved in the manufacturing of mesh parts/components, this will include:
Operating a range of different machines, feeding in the raw materials, ensuring the machine is manufacturing the components correctly, gathering the materials produced by the machine and boxing up

Production Operative Must Have:
High levels of attention to detail are needed in this role as is a strong work ethic.
Working to fast moving deadlines and schedules
Working to high quality standards

Willingness to learn and grow.
Willingness to work continuously in one role or adaptability for different role.

Masks must be worn on arrival each day, not just when working
A polite & cooperative manner is essential
Smoking – we ask that you use the bins provided specifically for cigarette stumps and use only the designated smoking areas provided

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep all staff as safe as possible there are a few implementations that have been put in place in the factory.

All staff must wear masks at all times while working on the shop floor
All staff must follow the one way system that has been put into place in and around the factory.
Remaining within your workstation area whilst operating your machine is essential to maintain social distancing
Break times will be allocated to you, you must take your break within this allocated time to ensure there are no more than the maximum number of people allowed in the canteen at any one time Not adhering to these rules can be a dismissible offence as the company works hard to make sure they are Covid Secure.

Salary for Factory Production Operative
£ an hour

- 5pm Monday to Thursday, - 4pm Friday.
40 hour paid weeks
