We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • The First Line Manager will be responsible for the control and delivery of the day to day operational requirements for the BA Cabin Cleaning operation, reporting directly into an Airside Shift Manager.
  • Whilst on shift, this role will be responsible for all airside elements of the operation including the correct deployment of resource to meet the flight schedule, providing a right first time approach to aircraft cleaning.
  • Central to this role will be the use of Inform to ensure the requirements of the operation are met and teams are used to the best effect.
  • The role will directly manage Cabin Quality Supervisors and will ensure the correct mangement of teams in relation to HR processes (RTWs, absence, performance management,etc...) as well as health & safety practices and contractual KPIs, most notably cleaning quality and delays.
  • Reporting directly to the Airside Shift Manager, this role will also be in responsible for the airside stores, airside high lift operation and deployment of GSE.

  • Preferred experience within Aviation or a DHL operation
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team, desirable
  • Good communication skills and a competent IT user
  • Full UK driving licence
