Northrop Grumman is in need of a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer to work at its Plymouth, Minnesota location. This Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer will be responsible to lead a systems engineering and integration efforts. The Engineer/Principal Engineer Systems Modeling & Simulation will implement and manage system architecture in the Model Based System Engineering environment. - Supports system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution. - Supports the definition and design of systems integration stations, such as Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) and Processor-In-The-Loop (PIL), to drive early risk detection during engineering development - Supports the testing and/or evaluation/validation of one or more components of a system or subsystem analytical model or actual system implementation on HIL and PIL test stations - Attends and prepares materials for presentations for Engineering Design Reviews - Supports trade studies, system sensitivity studies, design optimization studies, system performance assessments, system design assessments, Operations Analysis work such as mission analysis and timelines and concept of operations development. - Executes multi-disciplinary analyses and trade studies to support system design and verification activities - Drives the definition of Simulates real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems. The candidate should have experience in leading and coordinating a team throughout an entire engineering development cycle. Strong communication and people leadership skills are vital to this position. This position will be located out of our Plymouth, MN facility. This position may be offered at the Engineer Systems Modeling & Simulation Level 2 or at the Principal Systems Modeling & Simulation Level 3 Basic Qualifications: If offered at the Engineer Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer Level 2: Requires 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters. If offered at the Principal Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer Level 3: Requires 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. - . Citizenship is required - Ability to obtain an DoD Secret Security Clearance is required - Ability to travel is required (0%) - Systems Engineering experience is required - Experience with a requirements management tool - Leading technical teams members or projects - Project budgeting and bidding experience Preferred Qualifications: - Analytic/performance modeling experience in multiple modeling tools and/or domains - Aerospace / Aviation / Defense Industry experience - Experience with Teamcenter Systems Engineering and/or DOORS - Experience with Cameo System Modeler - Engagement in 1-2 professional engineering organizations as a technical lead er or Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Technical Risk Management

Salary Range: $77, - $116, Range 2: $96, - $144,

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
