Lead Games Programmer / Engineer (C++ Console / Mobile Games) Remote Interview Flexible. Are you an experienced Games Programmer seeking an opportunity to take a lead role whilst remaining hands-on with technology?

You could be joining one of the UKs fastest growing games studios that has consistently been voted as the best places to work in the gaming industry.

As a Lead Games Programmer you'll utilise your experience to lead the design, development, testing and implementation of game code, working across the full development lifecycle to deliver on a strong pipeline of projects. You'll be hands-on with design and architecture as well as heading up a small team (approx. 6), providing 1-2-1s, career development, budgetary control and work prioritisation / allocation. You'll collaborate with designers and artists to create the highest possible quality and engaging game experiences for gamers worldwide.

The company is currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well remote working until 2021; with flexibility to work 1-2 days at home going forward. When you are in the office you can enjoy a range of first class facilities, the offices are currently undergoing a huge renovation and are equipped with all the latest kit.

Requirements:
Strong C / C++ programming experience
Experience of working in the video games industry on console or mobile games, having shipped multiple AAA games
Experience of providing technical / team leadership and mentoring others
Strong knowledge of industry standard development practices: source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking, external QA and localisation teams
Experience with low level optimisation, shader programming, physics or mathematics
Collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for what you do
