Registered Manager - Learning Disability Home
Hours: Full time 40 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Are you an experienced Registered Manager who is looking for a new challenge and/or to broaden your experience?
We currently support people in a Residential setting and are looking for a Home Manager for our 2 six bedded Homes in Bucks. We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring individual who can engage positively with people and lead others to do the same. The Registered Manager role will include:
The management of staff, liaison with service users and their families, advocates and professional groups.
Undertaking assessments and reviews of support provided plus staff interviews, supervisions and appraisals.
Assisting Resident’s with their needs that vary from learning and physical disabilities to complex needs and some challenging behaviour.
Registered Manager Minimum requirements:
NVQ level 5 Health and Social Care or RMA or working towards this Award
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
You will have proven experience with being able to engage people with a positive and proactive approach and a track record of being able to develop and encourage professional growth in others.
Have experience of running a Residential Service for people whether it be within learning disabilities or mental health.
Must have experience of working within a residential setting and with people who have a learning disability, complex needs, autism, mental health issues and behaviour that may challenge, as well as health needs.
