Job Title:                              Contract Manager Site:                                      Markham Vale 1 Core Days:                           Monday – Friday Core Hours:                         Core Business Hours, however due to the nature of the role you will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to your working hours to meet the needs of the role and the business The Role The Market Leading Great Bear is recruiting for a Customer Contract Manager to manage the E2E customer relationship, working closely with the Markham vale 1 team to deliver the requirements. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, we are looking for a commercially astute, operationally sound Customer Contract Manager with a strong back ground in managing Operational performance and driving continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join the business with scope to support future growth but be a part of this successfully run business and continue to promote its values of exemplary quality and service to current and future customers. Key Responsibilities - Ensuring execution of the contract requirements on site for inbound, storage and outbound and customer reporting. - Coordinate the relationship between the site team and the client - Ensure that all contractual customers KPI’s recorded, met and/or exceeded. - Daily, monthly reporting and status updates with the management team on all aspects of the contract and the service level. - Ownership of customer issues and expectations ensuring they are followed up through to resolution. - In conjunction with the Warehouse Operations Manager, ensure that accurate financial targets are set, met and delivered vs. Budget and contractual expectations. Ensure any exceptional costs are also captured. - Engage with the customer and their representatives, ensuring that their operational input is considered and supplied, such as volume forecasts, new sku’s etc. - Lead and coordinate the monthly customer review and associated document creation including the action log. - Striving for continuous improvement and suggest new innovative ways of working which could help to exceed the sites expectations and client’s contractual terms. This list is not exhaustive and the successful position holder may be required to carry out any task which the Company might reasonably require you to do. Transferable Skills - Intermediate IT skills – Microsoft Applications - 3rd Party logistics experience - A demonstrable track record in managing a fast moving, high service driven warehouse operation - Experience of interacting with 3rd party customers. - Experience of Continuous Improvement and the methodology behind driving this - Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse at all levels - Financially smart and commercially aware, with the ability to challenge where necessary. - A highly confident and proactive individual able to represent the Company, site and customer. - Previous direct experience with customer advantageous.
