Established in 1989, Anheddau is a not for profit, charitable organisation which empowers adults with support needs throughout North West Wales. Anheddau provide a range of services including community support, day services and supported housing, through a team of over 250 dedicated and committed support workers. The Role – Support Worker
As a Support Worker you will be providing various levels of person-centred support to adults either at their homes or in supported living, assisting them with:
* Developing and maintaining day to day life skills and promoting independence
* Encouraging and supporting participation in social, educational and leisure pursuits or general activities
* Supporting with personal care tasks and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and personal finances
Our Requirements – Support Worker
* Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given
* Must be 18 or over and willing to apply to the DBS for an enhanced Disclosure Certificate (paid for by us)
* Ability to display empathy, warmth, patience and understanding
* A passion for making a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable people
* Ability to work flexibly at times, including evening, weekends, and sleep ins
Although not essential, a QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and a full UK Driving Licence with access to your own transport, would be advantageous.
