The Company

Our client is recruiting on behalf of an international agency that transforms the way companies work through the use of effective, advanced technologies.

Delivering end-to-end solutions, they create more effective, streamlined, productive and flexible workplaces using collaboration technology, system controls, IT, AV, managed services and asset management.

They are now seeking a PR Executive to join their team in Cobham, supporting colleagues right across the EMEA region.

Your Role

As a PR Executive, you will be tasked with delivering an effective public relations service and building and maintaining relationships with the media and stakeholders in order to influence content and public perception.

You will be specifically accountable for informing the media, influencers, prospective customers, partners, vendors, end users and employees about announcements or changes to the company.

Specifically, recognising that PR is the face of the organisation, you will:

  • Draft and distribute press releases, case studies and newsletters
  • Manage social media activity via Hootsuite
  • Monitor press coverage
  • Produce PR reports
  • Support EMEA press events
  • Manage the PR database
  • Liaise journalists and influencers
  • Help put together industry awards

About You

To be considered as a PR Executive, you will need:

  • Experience in PR
  • Experience of writing press releases and case studies
  • Confidence in dealing with social media from a professional standpoint
  • Exposure to the technology sector
  • A can-do attitude
  • Exceptional organisational and writing skills
  • Real passion for PR

A solid background within the tech sector, audio visual, automation or similar would be beneficial to your application. The ability to speak a second language, in addition to English, would also be an advantage.
