So youve done the hard work. Youve completed your degree. But what now?

Throughout your studies youve already gained a sound understanding of electrical/controls engineering principles and youre just itching to put them into practice. You know you have a good work ethic and you really want to learn and develop yourself into a fullyfledged engineer. After all, its what you put all that effort in for, isnt it?

So of course youd like the first step in your career to be with a wellestablished, growing global business producing hightech machinery for exciting and fastmoving industries. So what kind of technical areas would you learn as a Graduate Controls Engineer? Well theres the programming of PLC and HMI systems, the electrical design of control panels and the ability to problem solve a range of automation situations for starters.   • EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Automated Handling Systems

As well as the training and development you can expect a starting salary of £23,000 £28,000 plus bonuses and regular salary reviews. You would be working for a company who are moving this year into a new purposebuilt site near Bristol.
