Role Overview

  • Working in partnership with the client services and operational management teams across the field, the HR Advisor will work alongside the wider HR team to provide proactive, commercially driven HR support and guidance whilst supporting on the coordination of strategic projects within the HR Services team.

  • Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility

  • * Effectively managing all ER activity, providing comprehensive advice on complex employee relations scenarios as well general HR guidance to employees and line managers
    * Identifying and initiating policies, processes and procedures, developing them where required
    * Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation, influencing operational management
    * Guiding and coaching managers on employee relations and HR issues in line with Company policies and best practice
    * Supporting the successful implementation of HR policy such as of absence management and performance management into the business
    * Supporting through business change including restructures, variations, TUPE etc.
    * Ensuring constant alignment of HR activity against the business priorities
    * Leading the development of line managers in the policy management framework, ensuring that managers are capable and confident to lead their people to achieve.

  • Person Specification

  • * Appropriate level of generalist HR experience gained within a fastmoving environment
    * Experience in managing various ER matters on an individual or collective basis
    * Up to date legislative knowledge
    * Ability to coach and develop
    * Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at every level of the organisation
    * Ability to respond under pressure in a complex environment, whilst managing a high and diverse workload
