SENIOR FULL STACK PHP DEVELOPER - PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Permanent, Full-Time

Cirencester , Gloucestershire

Flexible to work 2 days a week at home, possibly extending after probation

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international start-up lead by one of the UK's most successful tech entrepreneurs is looking for an experienced full stack LAMP Web Developer.

We're looking for an experienced full stack PHP web developer who loves to code. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving forward the company's technical architecture and solutions.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • Drive innovative solutions for complex technical challenges

  • Establish architecture of web servers, firewall and databases

  • Ensure code base is well structured, modular and efficient

  • Website development based on agreed specifications and graphical designs

  • Assist and guide more junior developers

  • Liaise with business analyst, designer and UX specialists

  • Challenge bad ideas. We want your input.

Key skills & experience needed:

  • Experience working within a LAMP environment

  • Highly proficient in responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript

  • Proficient in developing back end processes using Object Oriented PHP and MySQL

  • Experience using a CSS pre-processor (e.g. Sass) and Javascript library, e.g. jQuery

  • Experience designing and implementing database schemas

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Experience setting up and working within an AWS environment

  • Experience using distributed content delivery networks

  • Familiarity with Git or other source control systems

  • Good understanding of SEO best practices

  • Experience using a Javascript framework, e.g. Angular

  • Experience using an automated testing tool, e.g. Selenium

  • Understanding of OO JavaScript

  • Understanding of web securing issues and solutions
