Looking at a 2-month assignment initially.

  • £15 per hour.

  • Key items to cover for the Payroll Admin/Co-Ordinator:

  • To support processing the NHBC payroll for all employees on a monthly basis covering areas such as; starters, leavers, contract variations, tax code changes, student loan payments, pension amendments, salary sacrifice, court orders, voluntary deductions, SMP, SPP, SSP, bank detail changes. To be able to close payroll and reconcile for monthly and year end statutory declarations. To be able to carry out manual payroll related calculations ensuring correct deductions of NIC, PAYE, etc

  • Must have an up to date knowledge of payroll legislation and be able to demonstrate experience of administering a UK end to end payroll.

  • Must be accurate and numerate with attention to detail. Quick and accurate data entry

  • Must have the ability to work under pressure, and adjust priorities to meet tight deadlines.

  • Must be I.T. literate, particularly with MS Office and Excel

  • Must understand the responsibilities associated with working with confidential information.

  • Must take a positive attitude to handling queries and be able to adopt a pro-active and customer-focused approach.
