My school is based in the buzzing borough of Enfield where a range of children from diverse backgrounds can come together and work and play harmoniously. The school is a large, happy, vibrant and successful school. They aim to help each pupil learn, enjoy and achieve to the best of their ability and their motto is together in learning.
They are seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Speech and Language Therapist to work within an ARP within their school to assist in developing these childrens academic abilities. You may also work within the main part of the school supporting SEN children.
I am looking for someone who has experience with one or more of the following:
- Colour language for thinking
- Black sheep Press planning
You will need to have recent experience and happy to run intervention lessons across Nursery to Year 6. This will be a long term role for September and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
This position has arisen due to increased headcount on the school roll and the opening of an additional base to support this group. All applicants must have recent experience working with children with special educational needs, in either a primary school or specialist SEN environment. You will be working in a supportive, inclusive, friendly and hardworking team where you can expand on your skill set.
Strong and determined leadership by the Head teacher is moving the school forward rapidly. Pupils are encouraged to see their potential and are given the selfconfidence to work hard and aim high. Pupils make good progress in their learning and achieve well in writing and mathematics. The progress that pupils make in reading is outstanding.
