  • The role:
  • Initially your role will focus on supporting experienced Bid Managers from the point of assignment, right through to all approval processes. The successful candidate will enjoy continuous training, on the job mentoring and feedback, so that they can develop their skills and progress their career at pace.
    • Prepare the Bid and Activity Plan, defining roles and responsibilities and co-ordinating with the Bid team
    • Manage bid resources in line with the bid plan, marshalling Pre-Sales Resources if required
    • Co-ordinate the solution build – run the solution review, build the scoping and resource templates and ensure that the solution is optimized for success
    • Develop the proposal whilst complying with bid standards, ensuring independent quality reviews are performed
    • Schedule and run the approver reviews, obtaining approval of final sales deliverable
    • Prepare payment schedules, cash flow and Raw Cost information as part of solution costing and pricing
    • Manage bids through all approvals

  • Candidate Requirements:
    • A full Bachelor’s degree (preferably related to either Business or Computer Science)
    • Microsoft Excel and/or Project skills
    • Some prior experience of project planning and/or leading project teams (through an industry placement, university coursework or similar)
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • A willingness to travel
