11235 Company Accountant Job Spec
Our Client, a wellestablished niche engineering company of approx. twenty employees, based in Daventry with a current T/O of circa £1.2m, is seeking to recruit an experienced Company Accountant on a fulltime permanent basis to work in their finance team.
Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will oversee and manage the Companys accounts encompassing Cost Accounting, Sales & Purchase Ledgers, Credit Control, Petty Cash, Banking, Bank Reconciliations, VAT Returns & Payroll. You must be able to prepare VAT Returns & Payroll including all online reporting to HMRC (incl. autoenrolment). You will also be managing Accruals & Prepayments, Journals & the Nominal Ledger as well as preparing Accounts to Trial Balance stage and Monthly Management Accounts.

Skills / Experience
*Excellent experience overseeing & managing all accounting & payroll processes for an SME company,
*Essential: costing / accounts experience from a manufacturing / engineering background,
*Preferred: part or fullyqualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. Qualified by experience will also be considered
*Systems: Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, MS Excel.
*Appointment Type: Permanent
*Salary: Negotiable, circa £35,000 subject to experience
*Hours: Fulltime, MonThu 9:00am 5:00pm, Fri 9:00am 4:00pm
*Holiday: 31 Days FTE (23 + STAT)
