Senior Project Manager
HBD is the property development arm of Henry Boot PLC - with seven regional offices, it is one of the country's most active developers with a pipeline of £.
Focusing on urban regeneration and industrial logistics, the business benefits from a talented, experienced leadership team and boasts an impressive portfolio of projects including Kampus, Manchester's newest neighbourhood, the 370-acre International Advanced Manufacturing Park, and TECA, Aberdeen's world-class arena and exhibition centre.
While our projects are varied, they each reflect our ethos of creating places with purpose.
With a spate of recent acquisitions and an active development pipeline, several new schemes will be getting underway in the coming months and we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our award-winning team.
As Senior Project Manager you're ultimately responsible for successfully managing multi-million-pound projects. Our clients depend on you and your highly skilled team to deliver forward thinking schemes on time and within budget. Our projects give you the opportunity to create your own professional legacy within a highly supportive organisation.
Based in Sheffield and spending time in regional offices such as Leeds, you'll undertake an extremely varied role which will include attending project team meetings, liaising with consultants and assisting with technical aspects of bid document preparation. You'll also be responsible for commenting on specification, buildability, construction budgets, construction programmes and professional fees.
You'll ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the building contract is administrated properly and efficiently and that cost, programme and quality targets are achieved whilst keeping the Project Director informed of project progress at all times.
This is a senior role requiring a range of advanced skills, relevant experience and MRICS status or similar. You need to be a highly organised and skilled Senior Project Manager, able to prioritise and adapt your efforts for maximum return. A natural communicator, you'll have experience of the property development and construction procurement process.
You'll be familiar and up to date with current PM tools and keen to support the development of your junior team members whilst also being confident with commenting on construction procurement routes, construction contract terms, professional appointments and warranties.
Ideally you'll have an industrial & logistics background and be able to use your established network of contacts within both the consultant and contractor market in order to manage fairly complex projects up to values in excess of £10M whilst working in a project lead capacity.
In return for your commitment and dedication, we offer:
- a competitive salary
- car allowance
- private health insurance
- 34 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- a company stakeholder pension plan
- life assurance scheme
- a company profit share scheme
HBD directly undertakes a broad range of projects across the UK, including everything from heritage buildings through to flagship industrial and logistics projects and city centre residential.
From our seven offices we deliver and manage high-quality, sustainable projects and are currently working with a development pipeline of £.
