With a manufacturing operation as pacey and complex as ours, it's key we have a strong Technical team who are on the ball and are able to keep up to the demands of the site. It's ultimately their responsibility to oversee the day to day management and guidance of the technical teams across all departments. Reporting into the Site Technical Manager you will also: - Deliver food safety, legality, quality and integrity for all our customers and brands along with ensuring that all designated procedures and practices comply to legal, BRC and MMS requirements - Be responsible for checking CCP‘s across departments and ensuring trained competent colleagues are controlling these - Lead change through a continuous improvement approach as well as being able to support and advise colleagues on technical issues - Be a strong people developer and performance manage through a coaching and leadership style **About Colne:** Set on nine acres of land, our 16,700 square foot Colne site is one of Europe’s largest beef, pork and lamb processing facilities.
Here our 840 colleagues work five days a week, producing meat and raw materials for sausages, pies and more. We supply our stores and Farmers Boy with 150 products. Everything from pork shanks and beef fillets to oxtail primals and pork shoulder joints.
