The Finance & Accountancy division at SF Recruitment require an Accounts Manager for our client based in Coalville. The role will include assisting in maintaining the companies accounts. Our client is a well-established, family owned business, who are well known to be fantastic employers.
Job responsibilities include:
- Oversee the sales ledger function and ensure accounts are up to date and pursue if necessary
- Calculate work in progress for small works to ensure the completion of the management accounts within deadlines
- Completion of bank reconciliations
- Analysing small works sales and work in progress for quarter end accounts & to assess profitability
- Using the work in progress report to highlight underperforming jobs and determine reasons for this
- Ensuring maintenance of nominal ledger and overseeing the purchase ledger
- Check payments against expected revenue and follow up any anomalies
- Management of 3 members of staff
- AAT Qualified/New Qualified/Studying ACCA or CIMA.
- Prior experience of at least 3 years in a similar role
- Management experience
- Competent IT Skills (. Excel)
- Fantastic attention to detail
