We are looking for a Buying Administrator to join our Homeware Buying team on a 6 Month fixed term contract to join our team. it’s a fast paced and diverse role and when we say that no two days are ever the same we are not kidding!
There’s a lot to get excited about as you will be able to provide comprehensive administrative support to Buying Departments in managing the PO amendments and bookings issues that require action by Supply Chain Operations, this will ensure that products are delivered in time to meet planned delivery & selling schedules.
Supply chain critical path management will be large part of your day to day duties. You will be managing the process for all purchase order amendments and be responsible for ensuring that all required amendments are submitted and amended in a timely manner.
You will be the point of contact for our vendor base for any bookings issues, ensuring good communication with both internal and external customers.
Candidates should ideally have administrative experience within a head office environment, ideally within the Retail Industry. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a high level of computer literacy with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge in SAP desirable
The right candidate for this role will be a self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work. The ability to work within tight deadlines and manage your own workload within a fast paced and ‘live’ commercial environment is essential. Due to the pace of the environment, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is also essential!
