An exciting opportunity has arisen within a large NHS organisation, for a capable HR Change Manager. Post will be in East of England, working for 6 months at a Band 8b.

To oversee management of change programmes from planning to implementation, for multiple projects that have impact on roles, structures, working practices and culture within the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

The post holder will use their specialist knowledge of HR in the NHS to help implement significant programmes of change impacting the organisation or specific divisions;
Utilise complex information to identify problems, create solutions and monitor delivery, connecting projects across and within portfolios;
Contribute to the development of HR services, promoting best practice and supporting innovation and modernisation;
Deliver and present highly complex and sometimes contentious/ sensitive information to a variety of audiences;
Engage with HR team and relevant stakeholders so the impact of changes on staff is clearly understood, and management of change process planned and implemented effectively;
Identify and escalate areas of concern to teams within the post holder’s remit and senior managers;
Responsible for the effective end-to-end management (planning, design, delivery, and evaluation) of workforce projects and workforce elements of broader change programmes;
Manage risk, governance, finances for all workforce projects within scope of the role and workforce elements of change programmes as required;
Ensure the effective management of projects to ensure delivery to time, quality, and budget;
Transfer knowledge related to the project/programmes to relevant team members prior to end of the project;
Responsible for key change work-streams that support the introduction of high-quality care operating models while minimising impact of change on affected staff groups;
The post holder will lead on the people elements of multiple projects across the organisation and in some instances across the ICS;
Provide expert advice to managers on the interpretation and implementation of the Management of Organisational Change policy, including redundancies, contract variations and complex, large scale restructurings, within the context of the legal framework;
Keep abreast of any national changes to policies and guidelines.
A successful candidate will have:

Must have experience of working at a senior level within the NHS, or other healthcare setting;
MCIPD, business related degree, or relevant experience working at minimum Masters Level;
Excellent Employee Relations knowledge to Tribunal level including medical staff;
Demonstratable knowledge of change management, TUPE, COSOP, performance management, equality & diversity;
Significant experience of influencing and negotiating in difficult circumstances;
Ability to take criticism and act upon advice.
