Operations Coordinator - London - Up to £23,000

A diverse venue, ready to take on an Operations Coordinator. You must be eager to learn, have an excellent understanding of busy venues that takes on both internal and external events. This could be a social event on a large scale or a smaller boardroom/meeting. This venue boasts of a wonderful environment adaptable to cater for such variety, which will keep you intrigued and on your toes.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be directly reporting into the Retail and Beverage Manager to ensure the venue is running efficiently and in order with requirements and regulations. It takes someone who is productive with their time and has a strong attention to detail. Knowing that everything is in the right place at the right time.

Brief overview of duties:

  • Day-to-day organisation. Ensuring all outlets run effectively and they have all that is required to operate fully. I.E Linen, Beverages, Disposal Products and Cleaning product etc.

  • Organisation and presentation of rooms across the site, including furniture and AV logistics.

  • Health and Safety ambassador, duties will include holding regular training. Vigilant Food Hygiene controller, following company procedure and practices.

  • Monitoring and assessing costs control in relation to budget management. Collating all details to track waste, stock movement and overall closing counts.

  • Ad-hoc Admin duties, such as: logging all needed paperwork, filing in an appropriate system complying with data protection and company organisation.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Impeccable ability to stay calm work in a face-paced environment, when there will feel like 'multiple plates are spinning'

  • A strong leader, with a proven record to building up a strong team, achieving targets collectively.

  • Sound understanding of using the full Microsoft Package.

  • The ability to think on your feet, as many things may change unexpectedly. Managing client expectations when situations like this occur.

  • Strong desirable quality is to have worked in a catering background within a busy social venue such as a Stadium, or Arena.
