Description
UK-based organisation that provides sophisticated and engaging online services and applications to educational institutions across the UK and internationally.

Due to continued growth and success, we are now looking to recruit a logical and efficient individual with good communication skills for a Web Developer position within our busy, friendly team.

Non-negotiables:
Must have at least 2 years Javascript experience.

Technical Skills:
You should have at least 2 years experience with Vue (preferably), React or a similar Javascript framework, as well as experience with SQL. HTML and CSS proficiency are expected, and it would be preferable if you have experience with NodeJS and GIT.

Additional knowledge of any of the following would be desirable: Elastic search, Typescript, PHP, browser compatibility Issues, database management, Linux command line.

Desirable Attributes:
The successful candidate will be an efficient and organised team player with a logical and hardworking approach. The ability to communicate with people with various levels of technical proficiency would be useful. A degree qualification or equivalent would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working Hours:
Full Time, Permanent
9am - 5.30pm
Some flexibility

Team:
There are currently 5 developers in the team, who report to the technical director. Our developers work very closely with the client support team.

Interview Process:
Technical task to be completed prior to on-site interview.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & develop dynamic web applications and new online innovations, either individually or as part of a team on large projects.
Maintain existing online applications and services.
Develop internal systems and processes
Assist the helpdesk in resolving code-related end-user issues.
Work with our client service team to create feature specifications & investigate issue reports
