Finance Business Partner

The Role:

This is an exciting time to join PIB Group as we look for a new role due to growth for a Finance Business Partner. Although this role is based from our Lincoln office we are open to flexible working and working from home a few days in the week.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work with the business, including various managers, to provide insight into financial performance, aid planning and forecasting and deliver a strong reporting process. This role would suit an ambitious, self-starter who can take responsibility and work effectively under pressure


Work in close partnership with the Team managers and Head of Finance to provide accurate and comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
Help analyse monthly variances and prepare monthly review packs.
Become a key point of contact to support the business with any financial modelling.
Build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making.
Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
Work closely with the MI team to help create and monitor performance through dashboards and reporting and provide detailed analysis.
Liaise with the various finance functions, both at local and Group level, as required.
Aid Integration of newly acquired businesses into reporting structure.


We are looking for someone with 5 years post qualified experience in Finance with at least 3 years working in a Finance Business Partner role
Previous experience within Insurance is not required
Commercial Finance experience working in a fast-paced growth environment (over 5 years)
Experience of budgeting and planning as well as monthly reporting
You will be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail skills
Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines and driven by key objectives
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including Senior executive management
