This home is a medium to long-term placement for up to 4 residents and seeks to supply outcomes for planned admissions but emergency referrals are considered. We places high value on relationships with and between young people and staff and it is these relationships that are central to the work that is undertaken with the young people. This work might include supporting young people in education; encouraging them to attend local clubs and activities; ensuring all health needs are met; helping them develop skills for independent living; building resilience; increasing self-esteem; and equipping them with the knowledge and ability to keep themselves safe.

As a Residential Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our young people. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting them in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital.
