Quality Manager - Complaints and Grievances
Maternity Cover Start Date ASAP to March 2023 48,333 to 53,000 Per Annum
Reporting to the Director of Quality and Improvement and working within the operations department you will be take responsibility for improving internal processes of complaints and grievances.
The key tasks of the department are to assist in processing confidential information to help process complaints and grievances about public sector organisations.
This is not a contact centre/ retail complaints environment and ideally you will have 1st hand experience of managing internal complaints/ governance teams within public organisations.
You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework related to the quality control and assurance across internal teams and also wider stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for streamlining the current internal grievance process and adding value and demonstrating best practice.
Significant line management experience is expected; along with experience of direct reports and ensuring communication across the wider organisation and its stakeholders.
Previous complaints and grievance experience and experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams is essential along with a professional manner.
Excellent communication skills and a polite and friendly approach are also essential.
You will be able to successfully manage a varied workload, have good organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and show appropriate empathy.
Essential to this role is attention to detail and you will be an excellent communicator and will be capable of fostering productive working relationships with colleagues, central service divisions and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a very varied role therefore you will be required to be both flexible and adaptable.
The role is a maternity cover ; starting ASAP and expected to finish March 2023 ,the working hours are 36 per week Monday to Friday and will be a mixture of remote working and in the office following government guidelines.
