Job Description Our Recruitment team is developing and growing, this means we currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated & experienced Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment team based at our head office in the Globe Centre, Accrington.

Steinhoff UK Retail, the parent company of Harvey’s Furniture, Bensons for Beds and Concorde Logistics, employs over 3,500 passionate and dedicated staff and trade from over 450 retail stores across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to join an ambitious and well-established team and play a pivotal role in providing support to the company in recruitment processes.

Your key responsibilities and duties as a Recruitment Administrator will consist of:

  • To be the first point of contact answering telephone queries for the recruitment department
  • Provide dedicated recruitment administrative tasks to support the recruitment team
  • Ensure job adverts are correctly written and placed on the appropriate job boards  
  • To follow the recruitment process appropriately and effectively
  • To add all new starters information to the relevant system correctly and chase up on any incorrect or missing data (maintaining personnel files, employee records, employee correspondence, pay and benefit administration).
  • Liaise with all hiring manager/stores to chase all necessary paperwork and information for all new starters to prevent delays in start dates
  • Issue employment contracts and offer letters and request references for all new starters during on-boarding process  
  • To work closely with the payroll team to ensure all new starters are correctly managed and on-boarded
  • Work towards and monitor KPI’s ensuring that we are facilitating a high-quality recruitment delivery service to the operation.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox
  • Proficiently use Applicant Tracking system
