Location: Tamworth, B78 3HP

Salary : £25,000 and £30,000 depending on experience

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm

Our client is an international provider of labelling and artwork management solutions for regulated markets such as the pharmaceutical, medical devices, cosmetics and chemicals industries. Our client's solutions offer global organisations a platform to manage and transform their global messaging, in print and online, in a controlled, transparent and compliant way.

Junior Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Update project plans to reflect current project status
  • Support the senior project managers in the creation of new project plans
  • Track project status and progress against baselined plans
  • Provide regular reporting and communication on project status, both internally and externally
  • Identify potential scope changes and bring these to the attention of the senior project manager
  • Track and manage risks and issues
  • Support the management of third-p;arty vendor delivery into projects where required
  • Manage customer expectations around project delivery (for small projects)
  • Document and minute key project meetings and keep a log of key project decisions
  • Working to strict deadlines and timescales, dependent on project size and value
  • Ensure the deliverables in the statement of work or contract are being achieved through the project plan (for small projects)
  • Track payment milestones and whether these have been achieved
  • Initiate invoicing processes as required for payment milestones
  • Support the development of standard project processes, materials and artefacts
  • The successful candidate will be required to develop a good level of understanding and appreciation of:

  • The AMS software, its key functions and its application within our customer's business
  • The labelling arena
  • Regulated industries such as medical device and pharmaceuticals

to support the management of thier projects.

Junior Project Manager Requirements:

  • Good academic record, however, Batchelor's Degree or equivalent or some project management accreditation, e.g. Prince2 Foundation, MSP Foundation or PMI-CAPM is desirable
  • 1-2 years project management or PMO experience within software development and/or implementation
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and a good communicator
  • Must be confident in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Outstanding at problem solving
  • Aspiration to progress and develop within the business
  • Must be able to travel outside the UK

Junior Project Manager Benefits:
