You will be supporting a championship winning motorsport team. Delivering new technologies to support performance and efficiency. You will be tasked with leading the businesses HPC program and also be given the opportunity to work various other projects. The role will require the ability to deliver on both operational and project activities, against deadlines and SLAs. Thus flexibility is essential in this position.
- Focus on and improve reliability and availability across the IT application and infrastructure landscape Deliver new technologies that support, enable and enhance our mission to win F1 World Championships Lead by example as a senior technical escalation point for a broad range of IT support topics Deliver exceptional customer service in a flexible way, particularly as we require support out of hours for maintenance changes and technical support (on a rota basis) Troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis Prioritisation and self-management Design, implementation and support of enterprise applications, middleware and infrastructure Support and optimization of in-house and bespoke applications Adapting to change, learning quickly in a fast passed environment Step back and see the big picture and get involved in a 'technical hands on way', using your strong, current and broad ranging technical background to guide your instinct Project manage a number of key initiatives Deliver on operational and project based tasks, against demanding Service Level Agreements and challenging deadlines Deliver quality without compromising performance Be a strong point of escalation; seeing solutions that others can't, and crucially, be keen to do so as quickly and efficiently as possible so that we can achieve our collective goals Actively encourage teamwork and knowledge sharing to develop both yourself and your colleagues
- High Performance Computing and Computer-aided technologies (CAx) Delivering exceptional customer service under pressure Operational support at a senior technical level, within a medium to large sized enterprise Planning, organising, leading and delivering complex, fast moving workloads with both internal and external 3rd party resources Working to recognised methodologies i.e. (ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile) A broad range of technical experience within a fast paced, dynamic environment Supporting junior colleagues via mentoring, training and documentation Enterprise application, middleware and infrastructure technologies Database support, administration and optimisation Scripting, orchestration and automation techniques Capacity, performance and availability monitoring Security, vulnerability and malware threat prevention Desirable - Motorsport, OEM automotive or engineering background * Desirable - Testbed and simulation platforms
- Degree or relevant qualifications in a technology or science subject Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) ITIL v3 foundation level
