This job entails handling inbound calls from existing customers, delivering an excellent customer service and building rapport with customers along the way.

The company has offices in Glasgow and Manchester and they are a leading business services provider.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for X4 Customer Service Advisors to join the team in October.

You will be representing a broadband and mobile phone company, so you must be able to understand the products and the services that they offer. Full training will be provided so you don't need any previous technical support or billings support experience.


In order for our company to try and be the best, it's very important we gain customer confidence meaning; when the customer calls, the customer feel they're speaking to the right person that is going to deal with their situation.

You will be handling inbound calls from existing customers regarding enquiries to do with technical or billing issues that they are having with their broadband or phone lines.

Speaking very clear and being a good listener is very important.

What is very important is that if you're successful, you're seen as wanting to do very well in the company.

The skills that are not required are broadband, mobile, energy or gas knowledge, however, to deal with customers' needs, training can be given.

You must know how to use a computer and be competent in maths as you will be speaking with customers regarding billing issues.

This job also requires initiative, quick thinking and awareness to help a customer in any of their needs.

It's very important that we can rely on the staff to complete all tasks set out in a reasonable time.


If you have previous technical support experience this would be desirable however it is not essential.

Having the hunger to better yourself will help your goal in gaining a job with us and continue for many years to come.


The place of work will be in one of our client's impressive offices (either in Rutherglen or Sale Moor depending on your location).

There is free parking available on both sites as well as additional benefits.

Full training will be given (3 weeks) plus an additional 10 week grad bay where you will be given further training and support.


The hours of work is hours per week. You will work on a rotational shift pattern between Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm and then 1 in every 5 Saturdays.

There will be opportunity to do overtime once you have completed your training period. Saturday shifts will be from 9am – 1pm.

There will be a salary review every 3 months where you will see an uplift in your salary between £500 - £600, capped at £20,600 for this role.

You will also have the opportunity to earn quarterly and yearly bonuses. Average advisors earn 10% of their base salary in bonus each year.

You will get bank holidays and Christmas off in this role as our client only works business to business.


Interviews are being held remotely at the moment due to COVID-19. You will undergo a 2 stage interview process (an initial conversation with Red Dot and an interview with our client
