My Client is a market leader in their field, with a comprehensive range of products. They are a global company with solutions to suit all. They are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to
- work with the Programme Manager to develop a standard project management methodology to primarily support the delivery of NPI projects
The Role: Project Manager
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate project delivery against agreed scope.
Create and maintain relevant project plans and documentation
Ensure project progress is understood and team members are aware of project delivery requirements and responsibilities.
Assess resource requirements to support successful project delivery
Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule & costs.
Report and escalate project status concerns as needed.
As required support and attend exhibitions, seminars workshops
Team working, coordination and cooperation with all colleagues (internal & external)
Direct & effective communication with all levels of the business environment
Participation in team meetings, training courses and workshops as required.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Project Manager
Business, Engineering or Science Degree ideal
HNC /City & Guilds or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline
Prince 2 or formal Project Management training
2/3 years of working as Project Manager within a technical or engineering environment or leading engineering teams within such environments.
Good knowledge of Electronics ideal
Understanding and knowledge of working with and supporting OEM & Tier 1 customers.
Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in a project delivery
Ability to multitask and plan priorities within a fast moving environment.
Commercial awareness & business acumen
Solid technical background, with a clear understanding of working within an NPI environment.
Very clear spoken English is critical
