Brand new opportunity for a Qualified Secondary English Teacher from September 2019.

Joining as Second in Charge you will be an exceptional classroom leader who consistently demonstrates top delivery standards and acutely aware of the strategies required to achieve the best within their subject area.

The Role:

• To ensure all secondary students are able to thrive and engage in academic learning • To deputise for the Head of English • To be accountable for student progress and development throughout the English curriculum • To assist the Head of English to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area through continuously, developing and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning • To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students in the agreed key stage, in accordance with the academy aims and policies • To ensure that all school policies and procedures are implemented and applied consistently by all staff in the subject area.
