  • Line Support Engineer

This IT consultancy is looking for someone to join their team and provide 3rd line support via escalations from the Service Desk, as part of change delivery or in response to direct requests from the customer. The individual will manage own workload of tickets and changes to ensure SLAs are met. This will include identifying the root cause of issues and, where appropriate, advising on suitable solutions or resolving as required. Skills and experience required include:

Windows Desktop environments, including Windows 7, 8 & 10

Windows Server 2008 / 2012

Office 365 and Exchange Online

MS Exchange Server 2013 / 2016

Networking LAN, WAN, firewalls

Wireless networks

Virtualisation VMware / HyperV

Thorough understanding of Information Security best practices

Understanding of ITIL best practices
