Brand Manager- Marketing

Ashford, Kent

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager in the coordination of the brand activation process, ensuring the activation plan is customer-relevant and up-to-date
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the delivery all food and brand projects, creating detailed roll-out plans for on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Actively monitor, contribute to and write website content, ensuring content is written “through the customer lens”
  • Work with Marketing Executive on our food engagement programme, liaising with key stakeholders to develop and write monthly content
  • Translate market insight into high-impact, sellable content for customers both on and offline
  • Develop sales tools that communicate the key features and benefits of our propositions and make it easy for sales to sell
  • Own and manage the reactive communications process, ensuring robust and effective plans are in place for activating at speed when required
  • Develop and build case studies that demonstrate our value and relevancy
  • Manage the offline/online trade PR programme and track effectiveness
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring all activity is in line with style guide

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Essential:

  • Project and campaign management experience
  • Multi-channel execution including print, digital and social
  • Outstanding content creation and writing skills
  • PR and trade press
  • Creative briefing and management skills
  • Commercially astute with analytical capability and understanding of how to track and measure performance
  • Comfortable working within insight and translating insight into actionable plans
  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel/powerpoint)
  • First-class presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Sales briefing experience
  • Passionate about food

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a complex, matrix-led organization
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Experience in an FMCG and/or leisure/hospitality business and/or food and beverage business
