Field Service Engineer required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training, support and overtime. This is a great chance to join a successful company in a local role offering pay reviews and an excellent benefits package.
The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
The company are a manufacturer and you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment around Northamptonshire. You’ll cover a local territory, no stay away is required.
The Field Service Engineer Role in Brief:
*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical.
*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
The Field Service Engineer Person Required:
*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
*Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
