  • The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare provides undergraduate and postgraduate education across all branches of nursing, midwifery and allied health care including operating department practice and health promotion.  Richard Wells Research Centre within the College has an established reputation for engaging in collaborative research that is practice focused and hosts a number of single and interdisciplinary research groups.

  • This is an exciting new post within the College in collaboration with the Royal Berkshire Foundation NHS Trust. Co-funded by Health Education Thames Valley for three years the post address national priorities in the field of Dementia Care.  This role is pivotal in meeting the challenges of dementia care across a range of healthcare settings and contributing to the delivery of high quality evidence-based care for people with dementia, their families and carers.

  • The successful applicant will fulfil a clinical academic role focused on establishing a collaborative research and service improvement portfolio with academic, NHS, private and voluntary sector partners.  In addition the post-holder will provide clinical academic advice to HE TV.  This post will be based at the main campus for the College of Nursing Midwifery and Healthcare in Brentford and the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading.

  • We are seeking a nurse/ allied health professional leader in dementia care and management, with arecord of achievement in collaborative research, income generation and peer reviewed publication.  Evidence of sustained engagement and successful knowledge transfer partnerships within healthcare and other sectors is essential.
