Job Description

  • Delivery

  • On receipt of a brief from the account handling team, assist internal staff in gathering requirements, planning the approach for the project to input into the cost estimate, scope of work and project plan
  • Ensure documentation is reviewed and approved by the project leads
  • Ensure senior project and account team members are aware of all critical client deadlines
  • Support project and account managers in planning appropriate resourcing for projects, scheduling the resource and monitoring resource changes during projects
  • Help to ensure that briefings are accurate, effective and efficient, setting an example to the wider agency
  • Set up and manage the use of any internal project management software for use in the project lifecycle, such as Bugherd, ProofHQ and JIRA
  • Manage and update project tracking tools (e.g. translation and print trackers etc.) on a daily basis
  • Take responsibility for job bag management by following internal processes, marking up job bags with clear instructions, version control and ensuring that all work is signed off by the appropriate stakeholders
  • Support account and project managers in resourcing, timelines and budgets for change requests both in advance and during projects
  • Identify and mitigate risk at all stages of the project lifecycle, escalating to project managers / account managers as required
  • Support project and account managers in the management of 3rd party supplier relationships from negotiation of the project costs through to final delivery, ensuring that all the appropriate documentation, scopes of work, costings and POs are in place and that the work delivered is of the required standard
  • Support the project and account managers with translations including requesting translations from our translation vendors, managing the client review and approval of the translated content, requesting layouts from studio and checking all materials have the appropriate sign-off and review
  • Produce production timetables, monitor progress of projects against timetables and effect timely delivery
  • Assist with the planning, arrangement and collation of feedback for project wash up sessions that deliver learnings back to the project and account teams plus the wider agency
  • Prepare for internal briefing meetings by gathering appropriate materials
  • Prepare Contact Reports in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take client feedback throughout the development process and act as an intermediary between client and agency throughout the sign-off process
  • Provide ongoing status updates to clients, either in the form of trackers or status reports and attend status calls where scheduled

Strategy / Process

  • Conduct desk and field market research
  • Develop an understanding of the marketing strategies and tactics used on your projects and how these are effective for meeting your clients’ objectives
  • Champion the agency delivery process and help other agency team members understand and implement it as best practice
  • Inspire confidence in the delivery of work throughout the agency, by proactively liaising with all agency team members involved in projects
  • Challenge or present new ideas to colleagues and clients to ensure proposed solutions are effective and add value


  • Brief client amends into creative teams in a simple, concise, manner, ensuring, at all times, that they are fully aware of the client’s requirements
  • Proof and critique creative work and provide evidence based opinions
  • Ensure that the creative output matches the client’s brief and Langland standards, as well being compliant with all the necessary legal and regulatory requirements

Business Development

  • Build and maintain good client relationships
  • Commit to maintaining the agency's high level of service, which is fundamental to client retention
  • Help to collate, gather, share and act upon client feedback throughout the development of creative work
  • Participate actively in client calls and meetings
  • Be aware of and support the Client Services team in preparing proposals / pitch work / presentations via research, timelines and budgets for the content included in proposals and pitches
  • Spot opportunities for new business and share them with the account handling team


  • Collate costing information for approval or use by a senior member of the project and account teams
  • Have an awareness of the levels of profitability on accounts and the contribution they make to the agency’s business
  • Support the account manager with the monthly predictions and billing process but providing updates on completed work


  • Foster great relationships and become a trusted partner to all internal departments and cross-functional teams
  • Proactively support the work of others involved in creating content, by suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate
