Senior Marketing Manager, EU Fashion Private Label

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Fashion is creating a global portfolio of private label brands targeted at a wide variety of different market segments and we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to support the development of our brands in Europe. The role will be primarily focused on driving awareness and engagement across off-site marketing channels, with a particular focus on digital advertising, social media and PR, developing the positioning of our top brands and developing unique, relevant and engaging advertising content that connects with target customers and drives awareness and engagement for our brands, whilst also achieving goals on spend efficiency.

The right person for this role will have experience with online marketing, especially digital advertising and social channels, and be adept at using campaign performance data to drive ever more effective communication of our brands to customers. They will have a passion for building brands and developing creative, able to articulate direction through clear briefs and feedback to internal and external creative teams. They also must be able to work in an ambiguous environment where teamwork across functional and geographic boundaries is critical. You will have a high degree of ownership and integrity, be an independent self-starter with strong entrepreneurial drive, and be someone who thrives in connecting people and ideas. You will excel at communication and be comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization, communicating at VP/Director level. You will have an understanding of operations and passion for efficiency and continuous improvement. You will also know how to pivot back and forth between thinking strategically about our brands and driving fast implementation to deliver results.

Responsibilities include:
· Lead planning, creative development and execution of digital advertising campaigns
· Lead planning, creative development and execution of influencer and social media campaigns
· European Brand Manager for The Drop, our social first fashion brand co-developed with influencers
· Oversight of all EU Fashion Private Brands activity in PR, social and associates channels
· Oversight of all product imagery on our brands to ensure consistency with brand positioning
· Support the brand development and marketing planning on new partnerships with recognised national brands
· Engage with Amazon Fashion and Amazon Cross Channel Marketing (XCM) team on opportunities to feature Private Label selection in planned advertising campaigns and marketing events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience in planning brands, including brand positioning and developing advertising creative
· Experience in online marketing, especially digital advertising, social media and affiliate marketing
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience working in international markets and managing global stakeholders
· Ability to work to tight and pressured deadlines and handle unexpected events calmly
· Ability to manage multiple work-streams with competing priorities
· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
· Strong attention to detail and executional excellence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working in marketing at Amazon
· Knowledge of and passion for fashion, ideally prior experience in the apparel industry
· Master of Business Administration
· Fluency in a key language: Spanish, Italian, German or French
