A global leading Aerospace and Defence company, require a Production Planner to join their team. Do you have experience in a Production Planning and engineering background? You will be responsible for processing forecast data and recommending new builds as appropriate. As an experienced member of the team, you will be accountable for supporting the junior members of the material planning team. They offer 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell additional days, private medical health and an attractive pension plan.
Production Planner Requirements:
5 years experience as a Production Planner within a manufacturing environment Consistent methodical mind set Experience with using MRP and ERP systems (including SAP) Competent with Microsoft Office, precisely Excel Ability to juggle different tasks and work well under pressure A good team player with the ability to make decisions Excellent communication skills across all levels
Production Planner Responsibilities:
The Production Planner will maintain and update SAP master data for logistics activities You will analyse inventory data for all store locations Responsible for recommending planned purchases obsolete write offs and stock adjustments Contribute to Local and Global Supply Chain Strategy, recommending process improvements and simplification The Production Planner will process sale order data and quotation requests, providing commit dates and schedules are required Accountable for supporting the junior members of the material planning team
