Specialist One to One Study Skills Tutor

If so, we have a great opportunity for you to support students in North London and Central London.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Tutors to work closely with students, building important relationships and tailoring support to the students individual needs. Our aim is to empower our students to be successful and strive in their academic learning.

Your experience and expertise is vital to ensuring these students achieve their goals have the best. Working as a Study Skills Tutors you will be passionate about helping students to meet their deadlines and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing onetoone support in excellent Further Education institutions in North London area, to students with disabilities or recognised on the Autism Spectrum.
  • Effectively managing your own caseload and booking of Study Skills Tutor sessions.
  • Developing and introducing strategies to progress their essay writing skills, exam preparation and academic performance.
  • Working closely with individual students to implement nonsubject specific support strategies
  • Understanding professional boundaries and always maintaining a professional relationship.
  • Updating student attendance after sessions via the OPUS online system.

  • Requirements:

Full or associate membership of one of the below Professional Bodies;

  • BDA
  • Dyslexia Guild
