A fantastic client side opportunity to work with a reputable retail brand as a Global Programmatic Director whereby you will be responsible for the overall strategy and roadmap for the programmatic offering. If you have a strong technical ad ops or programmatic background but are commercially savvy and are looking for a challenge where you can build out a team, then this is a wellsuited opportunity.

THE COMPANY

This reputable retail brand is widely recognised as experts across the analytical space and is developing the media arm of its business. As such, obtains a vast amount of consumer data and is aiming to utilise media sales and advertising to optimise ROI.

THE ROLE

As a Global Programmatic Director, you will head up the programmatic arm of the business and manage datadriven programmatic strategy. To achieve this, you will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, develop roadmaps, consistently develop forecasts and ensure such offering is operating effectively.

As such, will need to manage and understand their audience data in order to upsell such inventory to the relevant partners. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage P&L
  • Liaise with clients directly to understand their current advertising strategy and advise the best programmatic offering relative to this
  • Converse with internal teams to develop and manage such strategy
  • Oversee the on boarding of clients and ensure there are no delays in the process
  • Develop weekly and monthly forecasts to ensure programmatic propositions are optimised

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Global Programmatic Director will have:

  • An undergraduate degree, ideally within a statistics or numerical vertical
  • An operational background but has since moved into a strategical role which includes monitoring P&L
  • Extensive commercial experience working within a DSP or reputable publisher
  • Proven experience developing, implementing and optimising programmatic strategy on a global scale
  • Researched, developed and maintained 3rd party vendor and/or agency relationships
  • Liaised with high profile clients and adapted strategy or recommended programmatic products relative to their needs
  • Managed or worked with teams across Product, Sales and finance
