We are recruiting a Support Worker on behalf of one of our clients within the Pontypridd Area. Our client is an innovative, rapidly expanding organisation that provides specialist care, education, and treatment for individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs or learning disabilities and other specialist care needs. A successful candidate will have a patient and caring nature and be passionate about delivering caring excellence. Working within a dedicated team within a designated service in a hospital setting, you will normally work hours per week with flexible shifts which will include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Education, Skills and qualifications
In order to be considered for the position, our support workers will: -
Have excellent communication skills
Experience supporting those with learning disabilities is desirable
Demonstrate enthusiasm and an innovative approach to enriching the lives of others
Have a desire to learn
Agree to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Have the ability to work well with others
Be compassionate and understanding
Although experience of working in a similar role within the care sector is desirable, it is not essential as we are looking for people with life experience in general.
Flexible shift patterns, normally hours per week. Overtime is encouraged and can be made available upon request.
