Various hours available on a casual basis, Term Time Only
£ plus holiday pay
Location;**Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts Colleges**
Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group.
Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of students within education?
In this rewarding role, you will provide in class/out of class support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities to help them achieve their best possible outcomes. This may be supporting with personal care and/or literacy and numeracy. You will be a key part of the Student Support team, and will assist in the planning, preparation & assessment of learning, giving feedback to tutors and managers on learners.
You will have the personal skills to be able to effectively support students, dealing with challenging behaviour when it arises, and helping them to develop their own coping strategies.
Have you got what it takes to be successful?
Ideal candidates will:
- hold experience supporting students in an educational setting
- hold experience or/and knowledge with additional learning support needs
- hold GCSE A-C in English & Maths or be prepared to work towards
- be flexible
- have good Administration Skills
- have good IT skills specifically Microsoft and google packages
