A large European manufacturing business based in Trafford Park are on the search for an experienced Customer Account Manager to join their expanding team.

Looking for an experienced Account Manager to protect annual revenue against a portfolio of customers through pro-active account management.

Duties of the Account Manager will include:

  • Collaborate with field teams to protect & grow existing business driving the use of new products/services
  • Proactively interact with existing customers, complete daily outbound calls to schedule, conduct face to face visits on a number of selected accounts.
  • Defend customers that come under threat from our competitors, build effective proposals and apply negotiation skills to retain business.
  • Continually improve customer satisfaction and experience.
  • Gather regular customer feedback during telephone calls.
  • Act as point of escalation to resolve commercial or longstanding customer problems.

Skills required of the Account Manager will include:

  • Relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Capacity to conduct high volume outbound calls
  • Previous Account Management experience
  • High levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Can work well under pressure, structured and disciplined individual

Currently the role remains office based, however longer term the expectation is the role will become hybrid home / office work, inline with the business as restrictions change.
